THE MOST ECOLOGICAL ARENA IN POLAND
PreZero Arena Gliwice is the first major venue in Poland whose operator has received the Zero Waste certificate, confirming that it is an ecological leader in the large-scale events market. And not just domestically. This is the first and pioneering certification for this type of venue in our country.
"We create emotions
and a clean tomorrow"
PreZero Polska
PreZero is an international waste management and environmental services company. As a waste collection, transport and recovery service provider, it supports the development of the circular economy, which helps to reduce pollution levels and protect natural resources.
Waste in the sense of PreZero are valuable raw materials, which is why the company effectively recycles them, enabling their reuse in various industries: it has modern sorting plants and its own lines for processing collected materials. Using modern technologies and innovative solutions, PreZero also effectively utilises that waste which cannot be managed as secondary raw materials, generating electricity and heat as well as alternative fuels from it.
It is precisely thanks to such sustainable actions that PreZero successfully achieves its overarching goal of more recycling and less waste!

Alongside its title sponsor – PreZero Polska – and other ecological partners, PreZero Arena Gliwice is following a path of environmental care. We have introduced a series of innovative measures that not only fit in with the sustainable development trend, but also set new standards in the management of large venues. Recycling zones enabling sorting into five fractions have been installed, an electric car charging station has been created, carpooling is being promoted, savings in energy and paper consumption have been introduced, and educational programs are being organised to encourage visitors to care for the environment.
PreZero Arena Gliwice won the prestigious „Green Facility” award in the MP Power Awards category, as well as the „Reduce – You Gain” certificate awarded by the Gliwice District Heating Company.

The Dafi brand, belonging to the Formaster Group, has been providing innovative water filtration solutions for over 30 years, focusing on environmental protection and sustainable development. Dafi products, such as filter jugs and bottles as well as under-sink filters, are designed and manufactured in Poland, in facilities in Kielce and Bilcza, ensuring full control over the production process. One of the brand's key objectives is the reduction of single-use plastic consumption. Thanks to jugs, bottles and under-sink filters, consumers can enjoy clean and tasty water straight from the tap while limiting the amount of waste generated.
Dafi also offers professional water dispensers, which provide a convenient and ecological solution for offices, businesses, and public spaces. Modern filtering systems ensure a constant supply of fresh, filtered water, eliminating the need for plastic bottles.
The brand engages in ecological initiatives, including „Operation Clean River”, supporting activities for the protection of water resources. The company actively educates consumers, promoting conscious choices and pro-ecological habits. Thanks to local production and a responsible approach, Dafi combines innovation with care for the environment.

Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej-Gliwice Sp. z o.o. is engaged in the generation, transmission and distribution of heat for central heating and domestic hot water purposes in Gliwice. Our heat reaches numerous institutions, industrial plants, educational, service and commercial facilities, as well as tens of thousands of homes in Gliwice.
A well-functioning, modern heating company must keep pace with trends and changing conditions in the energy market. Heat generation and transmission should be carried out in a production-optimised manner to the benefit of consumers and the natural environment. PEC-GLIWICE has been providing high-quality services on the district heating market for years – our priority is the implementation of processes related to decarbonisation. This is a milestone in terms of changes in the energy sector for the Silesian Voivodeship, which for the last few decades has been reliant on coal in every sense of the word.
We base our activity on integrating many local communities, entities and institutions. We cooperate with numerous partners, thanks to whom we build an appropriate substantive background. We greatly value our cooperation with the Silesian University of Technology, among others, which, as one of the leading technical universities in the country, is a forge of personnel and specialists. Our activities in many diverse fields have been noticed and rewarded many times.

The LIFE Archiclima project is an initiative co-funded by the European Union, the aim of which is to effectively support property managers and owners in building resilience to the effects of climate change in Poland.
The aim of the cooperation within the project is primarily to reduce the negative impact of the arena infrastructure on the environment by proposing and implementing nature-based solutions. At the same time, it is about increasing resilience to the effects of climate change, including extreme weather events.
The project is being implemented in over a dozen facilities in Poland, including Katowice International Airport, as well as in many large shopping centres. PreZero Arena Gliwice has joined this group, striving to increase its resilience to climate change through cooperation with Investeko S.A.

Envirly works with organisations that aim to build their value based on a green strategy, as well as those that, as a result of upcoming EU CSRD regulations, will be required to publish non-financial information. It helps companies meet regulatory requirements and achieve ESG-related goals by offering measurement tools, consulting services and training, analysing data and supervising projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It currently works with 200 entities nationwide.
A key element of this cooperation is the sustainability management platform, which enables the estimation of greenhouse gas emissions, real-time monitoring of their changes and tracking of reduction targets. This element is extremely important for the development of PreZero Arena Gliwice and its implementation is an important goal that will allow the venue to be managed more effectively in the context of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
